Ur My Type is an app that uses personality types to make dating and finding friends online more meaningful!
We have removed everything that's annoying about the old conventional dating apps and friend finding apps you've already tried and added what's actually needed: A way to be matched with people based on personality types.
This works in 3 simple steps:
1. You first take our personality test to find out your own personality type.
2. You then take our compatibility test to find out the personality type of your ideal match.
3. We show you potential matches who are compatible with you!
We are idealists, but we are also realists. We realize that looks play a role in dating, which is why profile pictures are allowed on the app. However, we refuse to believe that looks are the most important factor in forming meaningful relationships of any kind. Our core philosophy is that personality is the foundation for meaningful dating, making friends, and any type of human connection!
Although Ur My Type is primarily a dating app, it can also be used to make friends. In fact, our data shows that up to 50% of our users are mainly on the app to make friends! The vast majority of our users indicate that they are looking for both dating and friendship.
