TV Rio Preto is a television station maintained by the Association of User Entities of the Integrative Cable TV Network of São José do Rio Preto, a non-profit civil society created on September 21, 1996. It began broadcasting on September 22, 1996. 1997, and since then, 24 hours a day, seventeen years later, it has been persistently and uninterruptedly pursuing the democratization of communication. It is displayed via cable on the Net operator.
Its audience is concentrated in the A, B and C population groups, an opinion-forming public with high purchasing power. The estimate is 150,000 Net subscribers, potential viewers. The conception of our channel, since its creation, was guided by a concern with the broadcasting of programs that met its ethical principles and its educational-cultural proposal.
The Programming is made up of programs produced by its Associates, individually, or in co-productions, and also of independent productions, as long as it meets the principles that guide it.
The programs produced by the Associates of TV Rio Preto, Institutions, entities, companies and entrepreneurs, community and municipal government, bring a high standard of quality to the information, interesting other segments of the public that come to become more critical and demanding receivers in relation to the media.
