- Video consultation - you can choose to speak with a doctor through a video call.
Smart Health now includes a prescription delivery service at no extra cost. Prescriptions are delivered to your door, with next day delivery available nationwide (when ordered before 1pm) and same day delivery in London (when ordered before 3pm).

1. Am I eligible to use the Smart Health by AIG app?
All current AIG Life policyholders are eligible to use Smart Health, completely free of charge.
2. How do I get started?
You’ll need to complete a secure, one-time ID check before using the Smart Health GP service for the first time. It’s a simple, quick, and easy process to follow – all in line with Care Quality Commission guidelines.
3. How often can I use Smart Health?
You can use Smart Health as many times as you need the duration of your AIG Life policy, without having to claim on your policy.
4. Is the information I share through the app / to my GP confidential?
The Smart Health service and digital GP app are completely confidential.
5. How do I book an appointment with a doctor?
Once you've opened the app and set up your account, click ‘request a video consultation’ or ‘request a phone call.’ You can then book an online 30-minute appointment with a doctor – it’s available 24/7. If you have any visible symptoms, you can also upload photos ahead of your GP appointment.
6. What happens when I book an appointment?
The GP will call you at the agreed time and ask you to describe your symptoms or concerns. They’ll run through a range of questions to help them to advise or make recommendations. Don’t worry if you have more than one medical concern (or a range of symptoms) – our GPs are happy to discuss these during your appointment.
