The Google Play subscription monthly pass has a term of 30 days and is automatically renewed for a further 30 days if it is not canceled no later than 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period (auto-renewable).
 
Cancellation is only possible via the Google Play Store app under 'Three-line menu -> Select subscription -> Cancel subscription'; Cancellation of an ongoing subscription is excluded.
