Posture Perfect Exam allows precise measurement of posture quality, which provides a starting point for improving your patient’s posture. In less than two minutes, Posture Perfect Exam collects five patient measurements and displays an Exam Score. The higher the number, the more imbalance is the posture.
How it Works
Open the Posture Perfect Exam App and wait for the front posture view to appear.
There are four readings to be taken from the front view: head, shoulder, waist, and vertical axis. Each reading is initiated by touching the respective shaded areas. An inclinometer and a tilt reading show when each of the four areas is activated. Touching anywhere on the screen records the reading and brings back the front view posture to do the next reading.
After the front view readings are taken, swipe the screen to the left to start a fifth side view reading: forward head posture. Touching the screen in the shaded area shows the inclinometer and the tilt meter once again. Touching anywhere on the screen records the reading and brings it back to the side view again.
An exam score is at the top left portion of the front and side view. The exam score is the total of the five readings taken. The higher the number, the more imbalanced the patient’s posture.
Touching the trash can on either front or side prompts the user to delete all readings.
