The description of Náutica
For 29 years, NÁUTICA remains the biggest reference in nautical content in Brazil
Innovation translates well the spirit that has always guided Revista NÁUTICA. In the 1980s, we were the first to set a standard for testing recreational craft. Today, we are very close to the historic mark of 1000 (thousand!) published boat reviews. We were also the first magazine to dedicate part of its content to diving specials — giving rise to the Mergulho magazine. More: almost two decades ago, NÁUTICA introduced the two largest nautical salons in Latin America to our market, the São Paulo Boat Show and the Rio Boat Show.
In the late 1990s, NÁUTICA launched the campaign “Just throw in the water what the fish can eat”, which raises awareness — in a very pleasant way, with the distribution of gifts and practical information, along with the Angra and Paraty Nautical Guide , edited annually by the magazine — users of boats who frequent these in the summer.
In 2013, after having the regional edition NÁUTICA SUDESTE (its second, after the pioneering NÁUTICA SUL, dedicated to Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul), now focused only on the waters of the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro , Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, NÁUTICA was responsible for another memorable feat: the incredible mark of 300 editions! There is no older magazine about boats in Brazil.
In the same year, NÁUTICA, which has always been connected to the latest in content and technology, also presented its unprecedented digital version for Android. With that, it became the first magazine about boats in Brazil to have a fully interactive digital version. All of our content is available monthly for Android and iOS devices before it even hits newsstands. As you can see, a long journey and with great discoveries.
Now, a decade after launching the first Brazilian internet portal on the nautical world, NÁUTICA innovates once again: it presents a new, more dynamic and modern nautical portal, which will capture the spirit of the new times and help to build the bigger, better and more professional boats.
