The game supports two players playing at the same time, so in some levels, the two players need to coordinate their actions in order to avoid one player jumping when the other is pulled off the screen (which is fatal). The game's pace is fast, and there are only three lives at the beginning, and the bonus lives gained through scoring are relatively small, so a one-life pass requires very skilled skills. Other players can increase their lives through secret codes, or by selecting lives and difficulty in the menu. The game is also known for the large bosses at the end of the game scenes.
