Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, born June 18, 1989 in Laval (Mayenne, France), is a Gabonese international footballer currently playing as center forward at FC Barcelone. He also has French nationality.
Arriving from SC Bastia in 2006 at AC Milan where he finished his training, he made himself known in the professional world with several consecutive loans in France, Dijon FCO, Lille OSC, AS Monaco and AS Saint- Étienne, where he was finally transferred in 2011. Brilliant in particular by his top speed, he realized two full seasons there. In 2013, he signed at Borussia Dortmund, Germany. January 31, 2018 the Dortmund striker commits himself with FC Barcelone. Bought for 63 million euros, the Gabonese has become the most expensive player in the history of the London club.
Thanks to his year in 2015 with Dortmund and 46 goals scored in all competitions, he is crowned African footballer of the year, January 7, 2016, ahead of the Ivorian Yaya Toure and the Ghanaian Andre Ayew.
