Application that enables people and producers of the Gran Chaco participation in monitoring and data capture information and allows them to improve their quality of life and quality of production. It focuses mainly on this first version, in obtaining pluviometric and hydrometric data and displaying them within the area of the user. It also allows receiving warnings (warnings and forecasts) sent by technicians authorized to increase the maneuverability against hydroclimatic events. This, combined with the contributions of driving directions by other technicians agriculture, livestock and beekeeping, will result in a tool to generate adaptation and increase the resilience of small farmers against effects of climatic variations.
The application comes within the framework of the Technical Cooperation between the Gran Chaco PROADAPT (1) and REDLAC (2), designed to strengthen the development of the Gran Chaco in the context of climate change contributing to a better quality of life for their families programs promoting a resilient beekeeping and livestock in the three countries (Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay). Initiative supported by FONTAGRO.
(1) Gran Chaco Proadapt "Building resilience in the American Gran Chaco". This project aims to generate integrated by organized civil society, the private sector, local governments and investment aimed at national and international development to contribute to the adaptive capacity and greater resilience of small farmers in the Gran Chaco trinational alliance American and the most vulnerable social groups against impacts of climate change and climate variability.
