The National Veterans Legal Services Program is a nonprofit veterans service organization that has more than three decades of experience in helping veterans obtain the VA disability benefits they deserve. The NVLSP VA Benefit Identifier can be used by veterans, or those helping them, to help identify the VA disability benefits claims the veteran should possibly file with the VA. The NVLSP VA Benefit Identifier is only to determine possible claims for service connection. It does not help with higher ratings for disabilities VA has already connected to military service; benefits based on claims that have already been filed with the VA; benefits for disabilities that are the result of VA health care, VA vocational rehabilitation, or participation in a VA Compensated Work Therapy program.
The NVLSP Benefit Identifier now helps you identify if you are eligible for benefits due to Particulate Matter Exposure from military service in SW Asia Theater of Operations, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Syria, and Djibouti. It also helps you determine if you are eligible for service connection benefits for one of the three 3 new presumptive disabilities related to Agent Orange Exposure.
