When IT issues arise, VMware Workspace ONE Assist enables help desk staff to securely connect to your device and remotely assist you with device tasks and issues, so you can stay focused on what matters most. With Workspace ONE Assist, you have full control over your privacy. Each remote support session requires your acceptance before your screen is shared and can be paused or ended at any time.
To use Workspace ONE Assist, your device must be enrolled in VMware Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). Specific devices may also require a manufacturer-specific Workspace ONE Assist service app or use the accessibility service to enable remote control. In order to use the accessibility service on your device, Workspace ONE Assist will request additional permissions each time the service is enabled. Contact your IT administrator for more information.
• Support for Android 13 • On Android 13, Google has introduced a new runtime permission for notifications that needs to be granted by the user. • WS1 Intelligent Hub will automatically grant permission to the WS1 Assist agent. Please ensure both Intelligent Hub and Assist agent are upgraded to 22.10 version to support remote control on Android 13.
